The StaRT systems runs on Pacific Daylight/Standard Time. As verified by "Greenwich Mean Time".

Fixed Routes are a transit service that provide stops at specific locations and times. All fixed route buses have space for two wheelchairs and are equipped with bike racks. Fixed route service is available on weekdays and Saturdays. A StaRT Fixed Route bus will leave at its designated scheduled time.

Route 10 Express (Modesto/Turlock)
Route 10 Express operates Monday through Friday between 6:10 a.m. and 
10:36 p.m.. This bus operates thirteen round trips between Modesto and Turlock. 

Route 15 (Modesto/Turlock) operates Monday through Friday between 5:05 a.m. and 9:51 p.m.. This bus operates eight round trips between Modesto and Turlock and serves the communities of Ceres and Keyes. On Saturday between 6:20 a.m. and 
8:09 p.m., four round trips are provided. The Saturday service is combined with the Modesto/Riverbank/Oakdale route.

Route 40 (Modesto/Grayson/Westley/Patterson)
Route 40 operates Monday through Friday between 5:25 a.m. and 8:45 p.m.. The bus operates five trips between Modesto and Patterson with four of those allowing connecting service on to Crows Landing, Newman and Gustine. On Saturday between 6:40 a.m. and 8:29 p.m., four round trips are offered to Patterson with three of those allowing connecting service on to Crows Landing, Newman and Gustine. A 5th trip offers a return from Patterson at 6:55 p.m. to Modesto. Transfers are free to other StaRT routes.

Route 45 (Turlock/Patterson/Crows Landing/Newman/Gustine)
Route 45 operates Monday through Friday between 5:20 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.. This bus operates fixed round trips between Gustine and Turlock. Newman, Crows Landing and Patterson are also served. On Saturday the bus operates between 5:50 a.m. and 7:32 p.m. Four round trips are provided. Transfers are free to other StaRT routes.

Route 60 (Modesto/Riverbank/Oakdale)
Route 60 operates Monday through Friday between 5:30 a.m. and 9:03 p.m.. This bus operates round trips between Modesto and Oakdale. On Saturday between 6:20 a.m. and 8:17 p.m., four round trips are provided. The City of Riverbank is also served. The Saturday service is combined with the Modesto/Turlock route.

Route 70 (Modesto/Turlock/Riverbank)
Route 70 operates Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:35 p.m.. This bus operates one trip in the morning from Modesto stopping in Turlock before continuing to the Merced Transpo Center. In the afternoon the bus returns back from Merced to stopping in Turlock and then Modesto.

Bus Stops - Buses will stop at all designated bus stops on a fixed route. If no one is waiting at a designated bus stop/shelter and if the driver is running late, the driver may proceed past the stop without stopping the bus. If the driver is on time or ahead of schedule, he or she will stop and wait till the scheduled time of departure to leave the stop. A bus should NEVER leave early from a designated stop

A Shuttle is a transit service that provides curb-to-curb transportation between communities and cities. The Waterford / Modesto Runabout is a transit service that combines designated fixed stops (like a fixed route) and a curb-to-curb service (like a Dial-A-Ride or a Shuttle). Passengers can catch the service at the designated fixed stop without having to phone ahead and book a ride. However, those passengers can only be dropped off at other designated fixed stops. For those passengers wanting curb-to-curb service, it is necessary to call ahead and book a ride. Out of Area Service requires an additional fare of $1.50 to the regular fare.

Eastside Shuttle
This bus provides general public Shuttle service Monday through Saturday between 6:55 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.  Three round-trips are provided between Modesto and Oakdale. The City of Riverbank is also served. 

Turlock/Modesto Shuttle
This bus provides general public Shuttle service Monday through Saturday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.  Four round-trips are provided between Modesto and Turlock.  The City of Ceres and the Community of Keyes are also served. 

Waterford/Modesto Runabout
This bus provides general public Runabout service Monday through Friday between 6:05 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.  Three round-trips are provided between Modesto and Waterford. On Saturday the bus operates between 6:45 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. Three round-trips are provided between Modesto and Waterford. The City of Hughson and the Community of Empire are also served. 

If requesting curb-to-curb service, passengers may call and schedule a ride up to seven days in advance.  Riders may also call at least four hours in advance the same day, but requests will be filled on a space available basis.  Subscription rides are allowed on a limited basis.  Riders using the Runabout fixed stop service may transfer to other StaRT or MAX fixed routes for free.  To transfer from any of these services to StaRT Runabout curb-to-curb service, a full fare is required.

Dial-A-Rides are a transit service that provides curb-to-curb service within communities and cities. Passengers need to phone ahead to book or schedule a ride. Dial-A-Rides serving schools will pick-up and drop off students at specific spots to avoid getting caught in traffic. Check with the driver for pick-up and drop off locations. For curb-to-curb service, one Personal Care Attendant (PCA) may ride free when accompanying a paying passenger with a disability who needs assistance. They must board and de-board at the same stop as the paying passenger. Out of Area Service requires an additional fare of $1.50 to the regular fare.

Newman Dial-A-Ride
This bus provides curb-to-curb transportation service around Newman, Crows Landing and parts of Gustine, and you can go to Patterson at fixed times too! Service is available Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. out of service) and Saturday between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. out of service).

Patterson Dial-A-Ride
This bus provides curb-to-curb transportation service within the city of Patterson area. Service is available Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. out of service) and Saturday between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (12:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. out of service).

Riverbank & Oakdale Dial-A-Ride
Buses provide curb to curb transportation service within the cities of Riverbank and Oakdale areas. Service is available Monday – Friday between 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. For Saturday service in Riverbank and Oakdale use the Eastside Shuttle.

Waterford Dial-A-Ride
This bus provides curb-to-curb transportation service within the city of Waterford area. Service is available Monday - Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. and Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (11:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. out of service).
