FIXED ROUTES

General Information

Fixed Routes are a transit service which provides stops at specific locations and times. All fixed route buses have space for two wheelchairs and are equipped with bike racks. Fixed route service is available on weekdays and Saturdays. A StaRT Fixed Route bus will leave at its designated scheduled time.

Route 10 Express (Modesto/Turlock)
Route 10 Express operates Monday through Friday between 6:10 a.m. and 
6:52 p.m.. This bus operates nine round trips between Modesto and Turlock. 

Route 15 (Modesto/Turlock) operates Monday through Friday between 5:05 a.m. and 9:40p.m.. This bus operates eight round trips between Modesto and Turlock and serves the communities of Ceres and Keyes. On Saturday between 6:20 a.m. and 
7:46 p.m., four round trips are provided. The Saturday service is combined with the Modesto/Riverbank/Oakdale route.

Route 40 (Modesto/Grayson/Westley/Patterson)
Route 40 operates Monday through Friday between 5:25 a.m. and 8:22 p.m., the bus operates five trips between Modesto and Patterson with four of those allowing connecting service on to Crows Landing, Newman and Gustine.. On Saturday between 6:40 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., four round trips are offered to Patterson with three of those allowing connecting service on to Crows Landing, Newman and Gustine. A 5th trip offers a return from Patterson at 6:30pm to Modesto. Transfers are free between Route 40 and Route 45.

Route 45 (Turlock/Patterson/Crows Landing/Newman/Gustine)
Route 45 operates Monday through Friday between 5:40 a.m. and 7:37 p.m., this bus operates fixed round trips between Gustine and Turlock. Newman, Crows Landing and Patterson are also served. On Saturday the bus operates between 5:55 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Four round trips are provided. Transfers are free between Route 40 and Route 45.

Route 60 (Modesto/Riverbank/Oakdale)
Route 60 operates Monday through Friday between 5:30 a.m. and 9:05 p.m., this bus operates round trips between Modesto and Oakdale. On Saturday between 6:20 a.m. and 8:13 p.m., four round trips are provided. The City of Riverbank is also served. The Saturday service is combined with the Modesto/Turlock route.

Route 70 (Modesto/Turlock/Riverbank)
Route 70 operates Monday through Friday between 6:10 a.m. and 6:35 p.m., this bus operates one trip in the morning from Modesto stopping once in Turlock before continuing to the Merced Transpo Center. In the afternoon the bus returns back from Merced to Turlock stopping once and then to Modesto.

Bus Stops - Buses will stop at all designated bus stops on a fixed route. If no one is waiting at a designated bus stop/shelter and if the driver is running late, the driver may proceed past the stop without stopping the bus. If the driver is on time or ahead of schedule he or she will stop and wait till the scheduled time of departure to leave the stop. A bus should NEVER leave early from a designated stop.
