General Medivan Information

Reservations -

• Reservations are required. To make a Reservation call 1-800-262-1516. Seats are limited. Make your reservation at least two (2) weeks in advance. Seating is limited. Critical fog conditions could cause a delay or cancellation of the Medivan trip.

Cancellations -

• If you cannot keep your doctor appointment, please call 1-800-262-1516 as soon as possible to cancel your ride, so someone else can use your seat.

Tickets -

• Tickets are $15.00 for a round trip or $7.50 one-way. Prepayment of fare is required.
• If a passenger requires an attendant for assistance, please complete and return a Medivan Application Form (Click here to download the Form) to Storer Transit Systems, 1216 Doker Dr., Modesto, CA 95351. To request a Medivan Application Form call 1-800-262-1516 or you may pick one up at the address listed above. An attendant may ride when accompanying a paying passenger for an attendant fare of $2.00 round trip or $1.00 one-way. StaRT recognizes any validated proof of attendant I.D.

Rules - (Anyone who refuses to observe the following rules will not be allowed on the Medivan)

• All passengers must have a reservation and rides must be paid for in advance. The driver cannot accept payment on the Medivan.
• The Medivan will only take passengers to their scheduled medical facility.
• Passengers are responsible for confirming their reservations.
• Passengers need to adhere to the Medivan Service Schedule indicated below for each facility when scheduling appointments and for departure times.
• The Medivan driver is responsible for passenger safety and can refuse to transport passengers who are a danger to themselves or others.

Modesto Departure Location for Medivan - Bay Area & Medivan - South

Medivan - Bay Area leaves at 6:30am and returns at 5:00 - 6:00pm.
Medivan - South leaves at 6:20am and returns at 5:50pm.
 

Medivan - Bay Area

Medivan - Bay Area  leaves Modesto's Downtown Transportation Center, located at 9th and I St., at 6:30 a.m. and returns between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.
